at every level of government and use those skills in an exclusive Capitol Hill visit with their members of Congress.

“With healthcare delivery and payment evolving, effective advocacy for our practice, profession and patients has never been more vital. ACR 2015 is a “don’t miss” opportunity for radiology professionals to learn important advocacy skills and use them to help shape the forces impacting their future,” said Bibb Allen Jr., MD, FACR, chair of the ACR Board of Chancellors.

“ACR 2015 sessions provide real-world skills to help attendees strengthen their practices and profession. Advocacy training is a part of modern medicine that needs to be experienced. ACR 2015 in the nation’s capital is the best place to do that,” said Cheri Canon, MD, FACR, chair of the ACR 2015 Program Committee.

ACR 2015, the all-new American College of Radiology (ACR) annual meeting, will be held May 17–21 at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel in Washington, DC. It will include more than 100 concurrent sessions and general sessions featuring nationally renowned faculty and a keynote speech delivered by General Colin L. Powell, USA (Ret.).

Attendees can earn continuing medical education and self-assessment module credits for Maintenance of Certification. The ACR has assembled a "toolkit" with background material that those planning to attend ACR 2015 advocacy and economics sessions may wish to read prior to arrival.
