The advantage of Advanced Radiology's new magnet is that it provides patients with large, comfortable opening with a special table that decreases wheelchair height. During the test, patients can have a friend or family member and can also communicate with them throughout the procedure.

The current 1.2T MRI is considered a part of Advanced Radiology's state-of-the-art imaging center in Lutherville, MD, which was opened in October, 2009.
