Advanced Ultrasound Level III Symposium is the first event held in Abu Dhabi, joined with the internationally acclaimed Ian Donald Inter-University School of Medical Ultrasound and the Adam's Medical Centre Fetal Echocardiography, will take place in the capital on June 11 and 12. Organized by Synovetics, a leading organizer of events for continuing healthcare education. The workshop is to offer gynecologists, radiologists, sonographers and other women's healthcare experts with a hands-on training session in examining the fetal heart.

The workshop seeks to improve the level of quality provided in regional women's health. The two day symposium is chaired by renowned Professor Magdy El Faramawy, MD, Director of Ian Donald Inter-University School of Medical Ultrasound, Abu Dhabi branch as well as Chairman of the Obstetrics/Gynecology Club of Abu Dhabi. The symposium focuses on the technical and theoretical aspects of fetal echocardiography for better diagnosis of fetal heart conditions. Internationally recognized women's health experts, Professor Dr. Badreldeen Ahmed, Professor of Obstetrics and Feto-Maternal Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College in Doha, Qatar and Professor Dr. Amal El Sisy, Professor of Pediatrics at Cairo University in Egypt, will attend the event. The instruction provided by Professor Ahmed and Professor El-Sisy will be brought to Abu Dhabi in order to provide attendees with high level insight in fetal echocardiography. Their themes will cover Anomalies of the Fetal Heart, both seen and not seen on Four Chamber View, First Trimester Fetal Echocardiography, Fetal Arrhythmias, Abnormal Fetal Echocardiogram Counseling and innovative echocardiography techniques. The highly-informative sessions will be complemented by hands-on workshop opportunities for the attendees. Participants will be able to secure Continuing Medical Education (CME) hours as well as benefit from the opportunity to update their knowledge through case studies, alternative techniques and innovative methodologies. The conference will provide ample regional networking opportunities.
