Toshiba Medical Systems Corporation (TMSC), one of Toshiba Group companies, 
announced that it has selected its new President and CEO. The announcement was made at annual share holder meeting of the TSMC. Satoshi Tsunakawa is going to be the new President and CEO of Toshiba Medical Systems.
Tsunakawa is going to succeed Kenichi Komatsu, Ph.D. who is continuing to serve TMSC as an advisor to the Board of TMSC. Tsunakawa said “Toshiba has built a reputation as a leader in customer satisfaction. We will continue to focus on being true partners with our customers worldwide by supporting and working with them as they strive to meet the challenges provided by today's quickly changing health care environment,”
Tsunakawa joined Toshiba Corporation back in 1979, he is about to use his extensive experience in global sales, business planning and strategic planning in his new position. Tsunakawa also held several positions at Toshiba’s medical branches in Europe and the U.S. During 2009, Tsunakawa was responsible for the global sales, strategic planning and corporate communications functions of TMSC.
