Qualifications:
Qualifications/ ? Skills:

• Must have graduated from an approved program in Radiologic Sciences
• Must maintain a current Massachusetts state licensure/? ARRT registry in Radiologic Sciences as well as BCLS.
• Effectively and efficiently produce high quality radiographic imaging studies
• Must be able to multi-task and think in a proactive manner

Job Description:
Under general supervision and following established procedures and protocols facilitates Interventional Imaging examinations for all patients.?

• Actively participates in plan of action in accordance to workflow needs.
• Adheres to policies and procedures for daily operations.
• Works with the Interventional Imaging Supervisor to ensure that the imaging standards are maintained.
• Recommends changes to the protocol that would improve the overall quality and care for the patient.
• Participates in the quality assurance plan for the Interventional Imaging program.
• Participates in the research and development of new exam and protocols.
• Enters the appropriate charges into the RIS/?HIS (Meditech) accurately for all exams.
• Ensures that all exams of high quality and available for interpretation in a timely fashion.
• Follows workflow plan developed by the supervisor, and alerts the supervisor to problems as necessary to a changing environment.
• Monitors the equipment performance and takes the appropriate measures to have the problems resolved (i.?e.? arrange service/?repairs).
• Consistently demonstrates effective communication, both written and verbal, with all departmental, hospital staff, and vendors.
• Performs all other duties as assigned or required to ensure efficient operation of the department and quality patient care.

• Work in an area that can be noisy and have extreme temperature/? humidity variations
• Exposure to ionizing radiationContinuous standing, sitting and lifting
• Must be able to lift and move 25 pounds of weight
