• This is a common appearance of fat necrosis. Well circumscribes fat containing mass. The round density in the center likely represents hematoma. These areas will often evolve into scars with coarse calcification
• The sonographic findings can resemble carcinoma, and in this case are not necessary to make the diagnosis
