Health Evolution Partners, company focusing on healthcare IT solutions, has started a partnership with Verizon, a leading provider of healthcare IT solutions, aiming to promote the adoption of mobile healthcare (mHealth) systems in the United States. iPLATO Healthcare, a leading provider of healthcare IT solutions, is initiating its mHealth infrastructure in two locations within England, one PBC in the north and a PCT in the South. The new mHealth solution will be accessed by nearly 60 GP surgeries that are currently using iPLATO Patient Care Messaging. The McKesson Foundation, based in San Francisco, Calif., announced the six recipients of $1.3 million in research grants in the field of mHealth technology. This grant is part of the Mobilizing for Health initiative the foundation takes to improve the health of underserved populations with chronic diseases through the use of mobile-phone technology. The United Arab Emirates has announced a plan to deploy a range of mHealth services for the first time in its history. The mHealth adoption is attributed to a newly inked Memorandum of Understanding between Middle East operator Etisalat and Ericsson. iPLATO Healthcare, a leading company providing mobile health services, announced that it has started a partnership with T-Mobile in order to market and distribute its mHealth service in Czech Republic. The recently announced partnership is going to permit hospitals, pharmacies, and other healthcare facilities to provide high quality health services on mobile to their patients and users.
