Applications are invited for the position of Senior Sonographer in the Medical Imaging Department of the Prince of Wales Hospital in Randwick. This department provides services for both adult and pediatric patients from the Prince of Wales Hospital, Sydney Children's Hospital and the Royal Hospital for Women.

| Job Qualification: |
|
1. Holder of Graduate Diploma of Medical Sonography or equivalent.
2. Hold current ASAR registration and accreditation. Ultrasound qualifications gained outside Australia must be assessed for equivalency with the Australian Standard and the holder should obtain a certificate of recognition from the ASAR.
3. Demonstrated extensive experience in pediatric, muscular-skeletal, small part and general sonography.
4. Demonstrated use of excellent interpersonal skills, ability to lead the team to provide a quality, customer focused service.
5. Demonstrated ability to train and teach qualified and trainee sonographers.
6. Demonstrate excellent clinical reasoning skills in the performance of complex sonographic procedures which reflect a high level of practical expertise.
7. Demonstrated effective leadership skills to provide an equitable and supportive working environment.
