Currently recruiting BSc in Computer graduate or Radiographer with clinical computer system experience to the role of PACS Administrator.

Responsible to Immediate Supervisor
Basic Function Perform all required duties ensuring a successful ongoing
operation, troubleshooting and maintenance of the PACS.
Principle Duties:
I. Assist in handling all clinical and technical aspects of PACS including image workflow, archiving, data integrity, training, and troubleshooting.
2. Responsible for the day-to-day support of RIS/PACS and other image based systems including modality workflow, image archiving, quality assurance of data, troubleshooting, applications training and other user-related activities.
3. In conjunction with Information technology team plan, coordinate, and implement upgrades of PACS (equipment and software)
4. Administrate clinical operations of PACS, including user accounts, documentation of procedures, definition and implementation.
5. Oversee activities of vendors in all phases of installation and implementation of new systems in conjunction with the Information technology team & Clinical Engineering Team.
6. Act as a liaison in digital imaging initiatives within the Department of Medical Imaging and other departments.
7. Refer physicians, radiologists, imaging staff and other users as required.
8. Responsible for daily preventive maintenance of the PACS system and components, troubleshooting and alerting appropriate vendors or IT support staff.
9. Edit and manage patient data ensuring consistency between PACS and RIS systems.
10. Perform other job related duties as required.

| Job Qualification: |
|
Education:
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or equivalent - (or) Registered Radiographer - (or) combination of both
Work Experience: Minimum of three (3) years experience as a staff radiographic technologist for a candidate with Radiographer License
Minimum of two (2) years clinical computer system experience
Skills:
Must have thorough understanding of internal radiology processes and all
modalities within the imaging department
Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
