WorldCare Clinical Starts Offering New Rapid Turnaround Services for Imaging Safety Reviews

Teleradiology news WorldCare Clinical, LLC (WCC), a major company concentrating on improving the accuracy of independent assessments in clinical trials, released new rapid turnaround services for imaging safety reviews. The new services ensure that safety assessments will be delivered within 24 hours after receiving scans.

WCC is offering its new rapid safety assessment services to cope with the growing emphasis that regulatory agencies and organizations are putting on safety reviews. WCC has started an affiliation with Proscan Reading Services (PRS). The latter is major provider of large-volume radiology" href="/tag/teleradiology.html">teleradiology services. These services are accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR).

WCC provides an integrated reading service that confirms comprehensive safety assessments within 24 hours after receiving scans. WCC offers its services via a team of board-certified radiologists covering all radiology sub-specialties.

Richard Walovitch, PhD, president of WorldCare Clinical, LLC, said "Efficacy assessments in imaging studies are often facilitated by a batch review, which can result in extended delays in determining incidental safety findings," adding "We understand the time-critical nature of these assessments and have developed this integrated reading service to address the need for prompt and accurate safety assessments."
