PACS news American Fork, Utah, September 20, 2012 – The Center for Orthopaedics and Orthopaedic Associates, Inc., both in Rhode Island, have selected Novarad’s NovaPACS for their practices. The Center for Orthopaedics will also install NovaRIS.

The Center for Orthopaedics clinic marks its 30th year providing services in the area. With the addition of NovaPACS the physicians will gain greater flexibility in being able to read images and plan surgeries onsite at the clinic or at the hospitals and other facilities where they provide services and with NovaRIS scheduling and billing will be simplified.

The 11 physicians at Orthopaedic Associates, Inc. treat, on average, 100 patients each day and provide orthopaedic care to athletes at Providence College. NovaPACS was selected for the state-of-the-art clinic because the system could be installed quickly and easily integrated with the clinic’s existing systems.

A complete diagnostic suite provider, in addition to PACS and RIS, Novarad offers CardioPACS, dose monitoring, mammography viewers, performance dashboards, mobile viewers, and on-site or cloud-based archives.
