iSOFT acquires UltraGenda.

iSOFT, a large health information technology company in Australia, mentioned that it has acquired UltraGenda, an IT company based in Belgium, for 16 million US dollars.

During last fiscal period, UltraGenda made profit of $2.6 million on revenue of $5.3 million. iSOFT initially paid a sum of $12.4 million for UltraGenda, to be followed by two payments of $1.9 million each in January 2011 and 2012. The payment will be in cash.

Completing this deal, iSOFT will be able to use high performing software system that is proving its efficacy in number of European countries including Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Switzerland and the UK.
