(May 16, 2012) TeraMedica, Inc., the leader in vendor neutral enterprise image management, has named Del T. Coufal Vice President of Marketing. In his new position, Coufal will spearhead global market expansion efforts as the company gears up for significant growth.

Coufal brings to the company a distinguished 20-year healthcare career, holding executive positions with both technology and patient-care providers. His background includes corporate strategy, marketing, and business development within the medical product industry, complemented by clinical and business management experience in cardiac care delivery and related patient care sectors.
Before joining TeraMedica, Coufal served as Vice President of Marketing at TomoTherapy, Inc. There, he played a key role in achieving significant corporate growth that led the University of Wisconsin start-up to an eventual IPO. Prior to this, he headed up marketing teams at VIASYS Healthcare and GE Medical Clinical Information Systems. Coufal also served as CEO for Appleton Cardiology Associates, Ltd., where he managed more than 100 employees in both business management and patient care.
