Artis zee from Siemens Healthcare is at the centre of new Interventional Angiography Suite
Nuffield Health Leeds Hospital has installed a ceiling-mounted Artis zeeTM interventional imaging system from Siemens Healthcare. The system is in the hospital’s new Interventional Angiography Suite, located in the theatre complex, and replaces an existing interventional setup.
The Artis zee has allowed the hospital to increase its service offering and is handling a mixed workload of neuro vascular, cardiac and vascular-interventional procedures. Staff have found the new system streamlines workflow and has increased diagnostic confidence. It has been well received by patients who appreciate the easy access offered by the Artis zee.
Equipped with a large flat detector, the system enables full body coverage and easy patient access. It has an adaptable architecture and is capable of delivering clinical applications for performing both fluoroscopy and angiography examinations. The Artis zee also has ergonomically designed controls for maximum operator comfort and process efficiency.
