Cape Regional Medical Center, in Cape May Ct Hse, NJ, installed a new CT scanner, LightSpeed® VCT XTe that can reduce radiation up to 50% without compromising image quality. The new system from GE Healthcare is a 64-slice CT scanner that provides a safer level of care to patients through ASiRTM Technology.
“ASiRTM Technology makes it possible to dramatically reduce radiation to patients; this is especially beneficial for children and young adults,” explained Dr. Louis Capecci, Chairman of the Department of Radiology and board certified Radiologist.
“The addition of the new CT Scanner complements and extends the range of quality diagnostic services available to our community through Cape Regional Medical Center,” Dr. Louis said.
