Secretory Calcifications

• Usually dense, smooth, and rod like in a ductal distribution. Occasionally difficult to distinguish from linear calcification of DCIS

• No further work-up

What type of calcifications?

Vascular

• Tubular and tram tracking appearance

• Have association with coronary artery disease

And these?

Dermal

• small with lucent centers

• Can be seen in tangent on cc view
