History:
48 year old female with hypertension and acute decrease in mental status

Findings: There is a large hyperdense mass centered in the left basal ganglia causing midline shift. Hyperdense material is present within the enlarged lateral and third ventricles and also in the fourth ventricle

Diagnosis: Hypertensive hemorrhage

Differential Diagnosis:

• Hypertensive hemorrhage

• Glioblastoma with hemorrhage

• Arteriovenous malformation with hemorrhage

• Vasculitis with hemorrhage

• Ruptured MCA aneurysm
