Video Description: The anatomical images are performed by 3T-MRI, both 3D high resolution T1-weighted images and Diffusion spectrum imaging (DSI ) are acquired. 3D high resolution T1-weighted images enable to reconstruct into various sections, and is helpful in clinical diagnosis. The MRI images belong to a brain tumor patient. In T1-weighted images, a tumor mass is found at deep left frontal white matter. Using DSI-reconstructed tractography, we can evaluate the relationship between the tumor and white matter tracts. The tractography shows three different tracts: corticospinal tract (blue one), corpus callosum (red one), and cingulum (green one). As you can see, the middle part of corpus callosum is totally destroyed by the tumor and the cingulum is pushed into the contralateral side. The corticospinal tract is not effected.
