The study was conducted by the Human Development Department (OSHD), under the ADB, on the technical assistance funds for middle-income countries in order to highlight Tunisia's achievements and growth in the health sector.
Besides, the study will develop an action plan dedicated to the promotion of Tunisia "as an exporting pole of health services and as an investment site in these sectors", aiming at "assessing the development prospects of the sector by 2016".
"The promotion of export of health services in Tunisia are part of the objectives of the 11th Plan and also part of the 2004-2009 Presidential Program ", while recalling that in September 2008, "the Cabinet meeting requested the development of an Action Plan for the development of exports of medical services."
